Girls and Women’s cricket goes FitMad

Fit MAD is an activity club project run by the PE Departments and the Active Schools Co-ordinators of the Dumfries Burgh Schools and is aimed at all P7—S4 girls and their mums (or female guardian). The idea behind the club is to get as many girls and their mums to enjoy exercising and to lead more active and healthy lifestyles.

There is a programme of classes which will run from Monday 3rd May to Sunday 27th June and are open only to P7—S4 girls and their mums.

This year for the first time it includes cricket and will involve the guidance of the Scottish Girls and Women’s Development Officer, Lea Tsui who will be in attendance for a number of sessions.

Cricket, Tuesdays, 6.30 – 7.30pm, at the David Keswick Centre
