The annual 3-day Cricket Scotland Junior Summer Camp was held last week at Nunholm, the ground of Dumfries Cricket Club. It was led by the new Dumfries and Galloway Community Cricket coach Chris Stewart from Langholm and happily, barring a couple of rain interruptions, took place largely in good cricketing weather. There was a high standard of ability on display and most importantly the youngsters attending from around the region had an enjoyable three days of sport.

Any person or school interested in playing some cricket or receiving an introduction to the game can contact Chris for assistance at DG One or by email at chris.stewart@dumgal.gov.uk.
